If true, that would make this an almost miraculous piece of legislation. But it isn't true. As the Heritage Foundation reported Thursday, the bill would result in $234 billion in additional health care spending, raise insurance premiums by 10 percent to 16 percent and place one-fifth of all health care providers at risk of bankruptcy."
