Help:Authors

Every opinion in Discourse DB should have associated with it one or more authors, usually just one. An author's name can be a real name or a pseudonym (as sometimes happens with online sources); though a real name is preferred, when it is known.
An editorial that appears in a publication with no name associated with it (referred to in the United Kingdom as a leader) should have "publication name editorial board" as its author; for instance, "The Economist editorial board".
For authors in Discourse DB that have their own page associated with them, you can view the list of items that they have written.
