Quote	Besides undermining a comprehensive health care plan that emerged from decades of political debate and negotiation, a ruling that the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional would require the court to overturn or radically alter legal precedents dating to the early 1800s. The resulting upheaval would invite constitutional challenges to everything from the Environmental Protection Agency to the federal laws guaranteeing occupational safety, food and drug purity, and minority voting rights.
